The basic problem with the theory of intelligent design and it’s designer universe ilk is not that it contradicts evolution, but that everything is so obviously designed by a committee of idiots. Why are giraffes so poorly engineered? Why didn’t our intelligent designers provide us with basic healthcare insurance? Where is my cupholder? If we were designed intelligently we would have built-in air conditioning and secret compartments behind our nipples, and I would keep snacks and candy in there for emergencies.
