Scientology: the world’s most expensive sci-fi novel! But enough about that.

This strip was originally going to be a minicomic starring Neil and Bob in their collegiate youth. In that tale, the alien friends return home from a whale hunt only to be told by scientologists that they’ve been audited as body thetans and must leave the planet. But it didn’t need another 15 pages; arguably it didn’t need one.

And that quote? Originally said by Marie Curie.
