The NCS announced their Divisional Awards this morning, and SFAM has been nominated for the Online Comic Strip category! This is an incredible honor, as the NCS is home to some of the best and most famous cartoonists in the country. We’re up against The Oatmeal and my friends at Penny Arcade, both heavy hitters in the world of webcomics. Congrats to  all of them! No matter who wins, the fact that the NCS is finally recognizing webcomics is a Good Thing for artists and the medium. Very exciting! The awards ceremony is at the end of May in Las Vegas.  I am looking forward to losing a lot of money in the casinos.
