Any self-respecting geek owns a  laser pointer or three, but how many of you have actually used one for pointing? I don’t do a ton of pointing myself, maybe there are professional pointers out there for whom these devices are a godsend. I’m sure laser pointers exist for some legitimate manufacturer-sanctioned activity but I can’t for the life of me figure out what that might be.
